... so much more than just another cottage!

Cedarcliff –
Cottage with a view

Located on historic Wolfe Island

This delightfully tranquil rural spot, populated since the 1700's, is home to some 1200 residents, plus almost the same number of cottagers and "wannabes" in the summer months.  The village of Marysville, business hub of the island, has much to offer, from creative arts and crafts, fine dining, casual cafes, general stores, and a library.

Take a stroll through the village to enjoy its friendly ambience.  Its three churches and the old town hall are a delight to behold, as are many of its charming old homes. Ilie island boasts several thriving herds of dairy and beef cattle, along with buffalo and horse farms.  Crops include grain, soybean, corn and abundant hay.  Sample some of the honey, strawberries, raspberries, organic jams and jellies, plus great maple syrup.

Sitting atop a cliff overlooking the majestic St Lawrence River, with a vista of the historic city of Kingston in the distance.

Located on Wolfe Island, the first and largest of the enchanting Thousand Islands, with regular ferry service to downtown Kingston, and Cape Vincent in New York, U.S.A.

This charming old (circa 1830) country residence has a completely equipped kitchen with laundry facilities.  The cottage is located just 1 1/2 miles west of the village of Marysville, where you will find grocery stores, the famous General Wolfe Hotel, a Post Office and dock for the ferry to Kingston.
Enjoy the boating, driving range,
swimming, hiking, bicycling, birdwatching, sports-fishing and opening in 2003 a 9-hole golf links.

So close to Kingston's varied entertainment, restaurants and nightlife
