The manner in which the waste is disposed of will change on Wolfe Island
Due to Ministry of Environment regulations there will be no other option than to transport the waste and recyclables collected off the Island.

The official date for closing the waste site is September 8th, 2015.

Wednesday September 9th will be the first day for the waste bins.

FYI: An Open House will be held on September 9th and 12th at the site to answer questions, educate residents and assist the public during the conversion.

2 half days per week (beginning today June 30th)
Tuesday 2:30 pm - 6 pm;
Thursday 9:00 am - 11:30 am.

Open to all islanders and American summer residents
June 30 – September 3, 2015 (during Dr. Russell’s leave).

* You can be seen by a NP without interfering with the doctor
to whom you may be rostered.

*The Medical Clinic bears all costs associated with NP Sparrow running this service, so there is no charge to see her and no charges to the Ontario Health Care system.

**To offset some of this cost to the clinic, donations are graciously accepted.

Exciting News: More & More People are Taking advantage of the Shuttle Bus Service to Marysville for those who want to "Park & Ride or simply Walk On the ferry." No more jockeying for a parking spot at the Dawson Point Dock or worrying about making the ferry on time OR Waiting in Line' PARK AT SACRED HEART OF MARY CHURCH PARKING LOT AND LET THE BUS DROP YOU OFF !!

Residents, visitors and businesses are encouraged to take advantage of the
Shuttle Bus Service to leave your vehicle behind and take the bus to and from the ferry and/or Marysville to ease vehicle congestion.
The shuttle runs continually during the week from 7:30am - 7:30pm and on weekends from 9:45am - 8:45pm.
There are two stops in Marysville: one for pedestrian traffic right in the village at the summer dock and the Sacred Heart of Mary Church Lot.

The shuttle service, supported by MTO, will operate while the Frontenac II fills in for the Wolfe Islander III currently in mandatory dry-dock.

FYI- The Frontenac II (33 car) is NOW in full service at Wolfe Island replacing the Wolfe Islander III (55 car) ferry. The Frontenac II is operating from the Dawson Point winter dock . Due to low water levels at this time it does not land in the village of Marysville .
