At Canadian Hydro, we believe that wind turbines are a natural fit with agricultural communities looking for ways to ensure prosperity and a sustainable future for their children and grandchildren. We also believe that wind plants represent good stewardship by keeping the lands in rural and agricultural production, and conserving wildlife habitat in wetlands, woodlots, and water courses.

Canadian Hydro now owns and operates 311 wind turbines and is a part of rural communities in Alberta, Ontario and Quebec. As a company, we focus on being a good neighbour and on contributing to the loclal economy. Our wind plants generate reliable family and community income through royalties and taxes, along with employment opportunities for maintenance and service workers.

In 2008, we expect to complete the Environmental review process for our Wolfe Island Wind project and hope to start construction in the late spring or early summer.
