TITLE: “For the Safety and Convenience of Navigation”
The fascinating past and uncertain future of the lighthouses of Eastern Lake
Ontario. Today, only 7 of the original lighthouses remain. One of these is the
oldest continuously operated lighthouse on the Great Lakes, the Nine Mile Point lighthouse on Simcoe Island.
