Frontenac CFDC to Host Workshop for Farm and Food Entrepreneurs
Are you looking for or do you have a value-added business idea for your farm? Not sure how to make your idea a reality? Don't miss this workshop!
The Frontenac Community Futures Development Corporation is partnering with the
Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs to host a full-day workshop called
Exploring Value Added Opportunities.
Participants will learn how to select their best idea, assess an idea's business
potential and figure out next steps. In this workshop, you will gain:
- new ideas, inspiration and best practices for successful value added
businesses - understanding of motivations and risk tolerance
- an assessment of what it takes to turn an idea into reality by considering
production, marketing, finance and human resources - resources for developing a comprehensive business plan.
The workshop will be held from:
9am - 4pm on February 5
at the Sydenham Public Library, 4418 Wheatley St. in Sydenham.
The cost is $25 which includes lunch and HST.
