Wolfe Island Historical Society AGM

the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Wolfe Island Historical Society. The meeting will be held at the United Church Hall on Victoria Street, Wolfe Island, on Wednesday evening, September 2, 2015, beginning at 7:30 pm.

The AGM will include a report by President Hendry (Hank) Connell on the past year's activities and presentation of the Financial Statement for the year ended April 30, 2015 by Treasurer Brian MacDonald. A membership update will also be provided, followed by the appointment of Auditors (Reviewers) for the 2015 - 2016 year.

The business portion of the meeting, including elections, is expected to be concluded by 8:30 pm. Ken Keyes will then give an illustrated talk on the challenges and successes of hosting the Canadian Plowing Championship here on Wolfe Island this year (August 26-29, 2015).

Light refreshments will follow.
