Mayor Jim Vanden Hoek will have an opportunity to speak.
Howe Island Ward is holding an All Candidates Meeting the same evening on Howe Island.
Program:
(7pm-8pm) Candidates have 5 minutes to talk about themselves and their platform. This will be followed by a question & answer period.
(8-9 pm) A time to ” Meet and Greet ” the candidates.

Frontenac Islands - Municipal Elections
Municipal Elections will be held on:
Monday, Nov. 13th
Voting hours are from: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
On election day there are two polling stations on Wolfe Island -
one at the Town Hall and one at the Fire Hall.
On Howe Island there is one polling station at the
Howe Island Municipal Office.
Community Open House at the Wolfe Island Library Branch
The Kingston Frontenac Public Library is launching audio book and DVD collections at our Frontenac County branches, thanks to a $35,500 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation. To celebrate the grant and collections, the Library Board is hosting a community open house at the Wolfe Island Branch on Saturday, November 25, 2006 at 10:15. The Honourable John Gerretsen, MPP for Kingston and the Islands, will be in attendance.

MS Wolfe Islander 1946-1976
will be held at the
Wolfe Island Community Hall
Sat. Nov. 18th at 7:30 p.m.
Join Captain Brian Johnson for an evening of
priceless slides and stories about Wolfe Islander II
and her life up to the time of her sinking and Stories
about Captain Buck Mullin and Captain R.F. Fawcett.
Admission Free
New comers won’t want to miss it.
Long time Islanders will love it.
P.S. The Minister of Transportation, the Honourable Donna Cansfield
has indicated her desire to come to the island on that occasion.

Wolfe Island Library Open House
The Kingston Frontenac Public Library

Community Open House at the Wolfe Island Branch
Sat. Nov. 25th 10:15 -11:15 a.m
to Celebrate receiving an Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant to purchase DVD’s and audio books on CD for the 12 RURAL branches in Frontenac County.
