The Awards Ceremony will be held in conjungtion with the
Christmas Market, tentatively planned for Sunday, Nov. 21st at St. Margaret’s Hall.

An all-candidates meeting will be held in the
Howe Island ward of the Township of Frontenac Islands
on Wednesday, 13 October 2010,
St Philomena’s Parish Hall, Howe Island Dr.,
at 6:30 p.m.,
Sponsored by the Howe Island Ratepayers Association, the meeting will provide the two mayoral candidates, Denis Doyle and Jim Vanden Hoek, and the candidates for the two council seats from Howe Island ward—Matt Fiene, David Jones, and Pat Norris—with an opportunity to discuss the issues facing the township in the next four years.

Frontenac CFDC invites you to participate
At their AGM, the Frontenac Community Futures Development Corporation (CFDC) received initial feedback for its Strategic Plan from almost 50 area residents who suggested priorities and ideas to help the Frontenacs prosper, achieve long-term sustainability, and revitalize local hamlets and communities.
The points of interest in the initial feedback ranged from the future of local tourism, agriculture and the environment to suggestions about fundamental decisions and choices that will be critical to the success of local communities and businesses over the next few years.
The Frontenac CFDC Board of Directors would now like to receive your input in determining the organization’s priorities and opportunities that will best encourage and support the vibrancy and prosperity of our communities by inviting you to attend a community consultation to be held
