The Frontenac Stewardship Council is hosting a meeting:

at the Wolfe Island United Church Hall
beginning at 6:45 pm
Guest speaker, Martin Streit, Leeds & Grenville Stewardship Coordinator, will describe the EAB’s life cycle and the history of its spread, provide the necessary information for landowners to identify signs of EAB infestation damage, and to devise plans for their properties before the ash borer reaches this area. Wole Island Historical Society Event Coming up SOON
The Next Wolfe Island Historical Society event takes place:
When: Wednesday March 28th 2012 at 7:30 pm
Where: United Church Hall Wolfe Island
With Hugh Daechsel (M.A.),
Senior Archaeologist, Golder Associates Ltd.
Mr. Daechsel's research interests have focussed on the Middle Woodland Period (2,400-1800 BP)
*Some archaeological finds previously discovered on Wolfe Island will be ondisplay.
As well, Mr. Daechsel would be pleased to view and comment on any artifacts local collectors wish to bring to the presentation.+
Light refreshments will follow.
