In attendance:
Frank Balint, Nancy Steele, Liz Crothers, Cathie Harroun, Hank Connell, Ward McCready, Jarda Zborovsky, Cecilia Ellis, Carol Doyle, Pat Sanford, Jim Calvin, Brian MacDonald, Mostafa Ismail, Margaret Knott, Lind Van Hal, Ton Wroe, Dave Colburn, Cynthia Day

The meeting came to order immediately following the Annual General Meeting

1. President’s remarks

Cindy spoke first to the future of WIBTA :
a. Importance of building on our past successes;
b. Importance of setting a direction and goals for the coming year;
c. Necessity of immediately undertaking a planning process so that both an action plan and budget for 2005 can be presented early in the new year.
d. First step will be two strategic planning sessions and focus groups to be held in December.
e. Emphasized the importance of all our committees and the need for volunteers to take on the va
