Wolfe Islander 11 - Frontenac II Ferry Update as of Oct.3ist

From MTO
Wolfe Islander III Passengers:
Unfortunately, due to the severe weather forecast it is not safe for the WI III to leave Hamilton. We will continue to monitor the weather and will be ready to leave as soon as we can. In the meantime, the Frontenac II will remain in service at Dawson Point until further notice.

Also note that tonight’s winds could affect the Frontenac II’s ability to safely dock at Dawson Point. If there happens to be a disruption in service, a tweet will be sent out and we’ll do our best to provide updates in real-time.
Thank you for your patience.

Important Wolfe Islander III Coming Home Soon to Marysville...

Update on Wolfe Islander III Dry-Dock
Tue, October 29, 2019 1:46 pm

Wolfe Islander III Passengers:Please Note
Work has progressed well at the dry-dock in Hamilton. As of today, we hope to have the Wolfe Islander III back by the end of this week.
The exact date is still dependant on Transport Canada final approvals, weather and some minor work still needing to be done.

We will confirm the exact date as soon as we know.

Once the WI III is back in service, the Frontenac II will make her way back to
Amherst Island. Work will then take place to get the docks ready and have the FII
back in service during the week of November 4, 2019.

The water levels remain high which means the WI III will return to Marysville until further notice.Thetemporary schedule will no longer be in place once the WI III returns. Service will return to the previous schedule.
Stay tuned for more updates in the coming days.

Thanks.

half hour (05:30 to 22:30) from Wolfe Island
and depart on the hour (06:00 to 22:00) from Kingston.

This temporary schedule eliminates the morning layovers during the dry-docking of the Wolfe Islander III only.
